Meet Dr. Myriam Berrahil
I am Dr. Myriam Berrahil and while I am keenly waiting to meet you in person, let me tell you about my background:
I first earned my bachelors degree in Microbiology at The University of Texas in Austin. I then continued at The University of Texas in San Antonio where I received a Certificate in Cytogenetics before enrolling at Boston University, where I earned my Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. I then moved to sunny Florida to obtain my Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Certificate at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
After graduation, I completed a pediatric dental mini-residency at The University of Florida in Gainesville, then started my professional career. Concurrently, I attended Advanced Dental Modules at the Pankey Institute and have completed over 1000 hours in continuing education, specifically on ankyloglossia and tongue function and continue to attend classes, courses, and conferences. Currently, I am an active member of numerous professional organizations including American Laser Study Club (ALSC), International Academy of Orthodontics (IAO), American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics (AAGO), and American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP). Additionally, I am a frequent lecturer at the renowned Pankey Institute as well international dental conferences and symposiums.
It is this knowledge and experience that I am eagerly waiting to share with you and your family in our office.
